FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) - Four people were injured in a motorcycle accident Tuesday in Johnson County, police said.
Sheriff Dog Cox said a motorcycle struck pedestrians on Old U.S. 31, in an area south of Franklin College. Medical helicopters had been called to the scene.
The Sheriff's Department said an 18-year-old girl and her friend were struck by the motorcycle as they walked north on the road. The teen girl and the 42-year-old driver of the motorcycle were being flown to IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, and the male pedestrian and female motorcycle passenger were also transported to an area hospital.
