INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Indiana State Police say a pedestrian was struck on Interstate 465 Saturday night.
Sergeant Rich Myers with Indiana State Police says preliminary information reveals a woman was walking southbound on I-465 northbound at the 17 mile marker. This is near West 38th Street.
The woman was attempting to cross the interstate when she was struck by a vehicle. Police say the woman was killed.
All southbound lanes were shut down. Traffic was being diverted to 38th St.
Shortly after 10:30 p.m. State Police said all lanes were reopened.
No other information was released Saturday night.
