ROCKVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - MTV's Teen Mom 2 star Amber Portwood was released from the Rockville Correctional Facility on Monday.
24-Hour News 8 news partner The Herald Bulletin reports in June 2012, Portwood of Anderson was sentenced to five years for violating probation in a drug possession case. She was given the choice to serve the time or go into a rehab program but she chose prison.
Portwood served 17 months in prison. TMZ reports she was released early due to good behavior, time served and because she finished two prison courses.
Portwood told TMZ that the first thing she wanted to do was get something to eat after being released.
