INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One woman died and two others were hurt in a shooting Monday night on the east side of Indianapolis, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officials said.
The shooting happened just before 6 p.m. in the 700 block of North Denny Street. Police on the scene say some of the shooting happened inside a home and some outside.
The man went to Community East Hospital on his own in good condition. Another person was taken by ambulance to Wishard Memorial Hospital in serious condition. Victim identification was not immediately released.
An autopsy for the woman was scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Police were looking for a suspect(s) Monday evening. No suspect information was immediately released.
