FISHERS, Ind. (WISH) - Racial slurs were stained on the sidewalks and along the building of the My Gym Fitness Center in Fishers in the 10000 block of East 96th Street.
The gym teaches children activities to stay healthy.
"It's not about me, but about the kids," said Owner of My Gym, Kendal Robinson.
Five years ago Robinson purchased the business. He chose Fishers to establish the company because of the family atmosphere.
Despite not knowing who committed the crime, Robinson is focused on serving the Fishers community.
"If we stop and go back we let whoever [did this] win," said Robinson. "We want to go forward."
Fishers Police add the suspect or suspects will be charged with vandalism or criminal mischief if caught.
Investigators will likely not pursue hate crime charges because no one was seriously injured or killed.
Despite the damage, clean up crews cleaned the graffiti up, and the gym hosted a birthday party Friday evening.
