DANVILLE, Ind. (WISH) - Indiana State Police are investigating the Sunday death of a Danville woman.
Danville Police asked ISP to investigate after a Hendricks County Jailer told officers he came home to the sound of gunfire.
State Police say the jailer found his wife, 30-year-old Melissa Burton, in their home and began performing CPR.
The couple's three children were home at the time but were not injured.
Further details are expected to be released Monday.
