INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Gov. Mike Pence has named two top Indiana Republicans "Sagamores of the Wabash."
Pence gave the ceremonial award Tuesday night to former Indiana Republican Party Chairman Eric Holcomb and Party Vice Chairwoman Sandi Huddleston.
Holcomb stepped down Tuesday night to make way for Pence's pick for state chairman, current state Auditor Tim Berry. Huddleston also is stepping down after Berry is confirmed.
Indiana Republicans met Tuesday night for their summer fundraiser.
