INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler Blue II is responding well to his treatment for Cushing's disease.
Butler's famous mascot tweeted Monday, "Good news from Dr. Phillips! My blood shows successfull (sic) treatment of Cushing's Disease. Now hopefully my skin starts clearing up soon!"
Veterinarians diagnosed the nine-year-old bulldog with heart failure and Cushing's disease, on top of other preexisting conditions.
He is now retired, and Trip (Blue III) is in charge of mascot duties at Butler.
