INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler Basketball team will be without its top scorer Roosevelt Jones for the season after injuring his wrist on a Butler trip to Australia.
On Tuesday new Butler Head Basketball Coach Brandon Miller it’s impossible to replace his top scorer.
"Rose is one of the most unique players across the country, in college basketball, and in NBA. There's nobody like Rose. And no team has a guy like Roosevelt Jones, including us sitting there to replace him," Miller said during a news conference.
"I don't think you can replace him with one guy, it's got to be our team," he went on to say.
As the team is still currently adjusting to the new coaching styles of Miller, it will also have the new task of finding success without Jones.
“We still have a ways to go,” said Miller.
