INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler forward Roosevelt Jones is on the road to recovery. The junior underwent surgery in Indianapolis on Thursday to repair an injury to his right wrist.
“I’m pleased that everything went well with Roosevelt’s surgery,” said Butler head coach Brandon Miller. “I know that Rose will do what’s necessary to move forward, and I’m looking forward to his full recovery.”
Jones suffered the season-ending wrist injury during the first game of Butler’s exhibition trip to Australia. He played a pivotal role for the Bulldogs last season, averaging 10.1 points and 5.6 rebounds a game.
