INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - One of the country's most famous former mascots is recovering from a case of pneumonia.
Earlier Wednesday, Butler's Blue II updated his more than 12,000 Twitter followers about his trip to the vet.
He tweeted a few details, saying, "On my way back to campus with Pops after my visit to Woodland Animal Hospital. Pneumonia can't keep a good Dawg down."
Blue II went on to tweet he got some antibiotics and is feeling good.
It's not the first time the popular pet battled pneumonia. He also got it at this time last year.
Blue II is now retired and leaving mascot duties to his fellow bulldog, Trip.
