INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Butler's leading scorer Rotnei Clarke will be back in action this weekend. The school has cleared him to resume game action against Temple on Saturday, Jan. 26.
"Rotnei has remained symptom free, and he's gone through full-contact practice with the team," said Butler Head Athletic Trainer Ryan Galloy. "As long as there are no unexpected changes, he's cleared to begin playing in games."
Clarke suffered a severe neck sprain against Dayton, after colliding with a padded basket stand.
Most of the state is under a winter storm warning until Saturday.
Quarterback Everett Golson has been readmitted to Notre Dame after being suspended for the fall semester for what he termed "poor judgment on a test."
An extensive forensic analysis involving the case of a Kosciusko County teen who was reported missing in August of 2012 and whose remains weren't discovered until just over a year later has been completed. Doctors have determined Aurora Shoemaker was not the victim of foul play.
