INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - It's another year and another top program is zeroing in on Brad Stevens. ESPN.com is reporting the Butler head coach is UCLA's number one target to take over the storied Bruins' program.
Stevens has been down this road the last couple of seasons.
Each time, the Zionsville native, who hasn't coached or played anywhere outside the state of Indiana, has turned down offers from bigger and more successful programs to stay at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
Stevens reportedly texted that he is the coach at Butler and won't comment on any job speculation. UCLA basketball fired Ben Howland earlier this week.
