INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The NFL and Indianapolis Colts are making an effort to keep fans safe at games this season.
Only certain types of bags will be allowed inside Lucas Oil Stadium this season.
Bags that are clear and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12" are allowed in the stadium. One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags are allowed.
Also, small clutch bags or purses, approximately the size of a hand, may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items. But, if you are in need of an exception, you must enter the stadium through the Northwest and Southeast corners of the stadium.
Colts' season-ticket holders will be sent compliant bags in early August courtesy of the team.
