INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts are on break until training camp in late July, but wide receiver Reggie Wayne said he won't be taking much time off.
The 34-year-old veteran will be working out with quarterback Andrew Luck in Miami trying to stay ahead of the young receivers.
"They're trying to find somebody to replace me," Wayne said. "I've got to show them what's up. I've got to make that a hard decision for them. I've got to think like a 20-year old, I've got to feel like a 20-year old. The day I stop feeling like that is the day I hang up the cleats and go. I'm an old dog, but I'm a dog that everybody wants."
The players will report to Anderson University on July 27 for the start of training camp.
A winter weather advisory was issued for Wayne, Union, Switzerland, Ripley, Ohio, Franklin, Fayette and Dearborn counties on Saturday night.
IMPD officials say a 3-year-old boy has died after he was shot in the head Saturday evening.
With seventeen shopping days remaining, customers are steadily visiting gift stores along Mass Ave. in downtown Indianapolis.
