INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indianapolis Colts' running attack ranks in the NFL's top 5, but fans are still waiting for Trent Richardson to break out with a big game.
Number 34 did produce in the second half of the Seattle win, and will carry a heavier load the rest of the way with Ahmad Bradshaw now out for the season, but Richardson said to be patient — a breakout game is coming soon.
"I'm starting to get more comfortable every day,” said Richardson. “These guys have been working, we've been grinding and working on timing. We need to know how we're going to play this run or how we're going to block up this scheme. We've been working hard on that. People have been on us about the running game and it's going to come. When it does come, it's going to come hard. We're going to have a lot of bandwagoners and we don't need all that ."
