INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - A Christian singer from Indiana will sing "The Star Spangled Banner" at this year's Indianapolis 500, and it won't be her first time.
Indy 500 organizers announced on Tuesday that Grammy Award-winning singer Sandi Patty, originally from Anderson, will sing the anthem before the race on Sunday.
Patty also sang the national anthem before the race in 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1992.
