INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - The Indiana Pacers confirm Danny Granger will remain out for Wednesday's game against the New York Knicks despite practicing Tuesday morning with the team.
24-Hour News 8 spoke with Pacers head coach Frank Vogel Monday night. He said he remained optimistic that Granger would be back in the lineup this week. However, he also added he wanted to be sure Granger was 100 percent before his return.
Granger has been out all season because of a knee injury. The team had hoped he could return to play the last game before the All Star break, but he then missed a shoot around because of illness. He was seen with ice on both knees Monday after practice.
The Pacers play the next two games at home — Wednesday against the Knicks and Friday against the Detroit Pistons.
