Despite it only being a preseason game, it's got a marquee matchup feel with both the Pacers’ Danny Granger and the Bulls' Derrek Rose back after missing extended time last season with injuries. Vogel said Thursday while Granger will play, he won’t start as he’s still recovering.
The team is now a week into training camp, and Vogel is pleased with what he sees so far.
“Really excited about what we've got here,” said Vogel. “We've got a good basketball team. Everybody seems really dialed in and understand the opportunity that we have as a group.”
