INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Purdue coach Darrell Hazell has made his quarterback decision.
He talked to his players Tuesday and is expected to make the announcement publicly Wednesday.
Six weeks after announcing fifth-year senior Rob Henry had reclaimed the starting job, Hazell yanked him after two interceptions stopped potential scoring drives Saturday and replaced him with true freshman Danny Etling. The move cost Etling his redshirt season.
Hazell must choose between Henry, who was clearly not himself Saturday against Northern Illinois, or Etling, the potential quarterback of the future.
