JOHNSON COUNTY (INDOT) - The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is advising motorists there will be temporary lane restrictions tonight on Interstate 65 (I-65) in Johnson County for pavement repairs.
Beginning today at 4:30, maintenance crews will be asphalt patching along I-65. The work will be performed in both the north and south bound lanes of I-65 between mile markers 80 and 101, reducing lane traffic. Motorists should be aware of maintenance vehicles and workers when traveling through the work zone. The work is expected to be completed by midnight. Law enforcement will be patrolling the area during this repair activity.
INDOT encourages motorists to slow down and pay special attention while traveling in work zones throughout Indiana. For the latest news and information about INDOT, please visit www.in.gov/indot and www.trafficwise.in.gov .
