90s streak continues with relief and showers in sight
A muggy and very warm start for everybody with temperatures in the upper 70s. Feeling very tropical outside this afternoon as well with high humidity and hot temperatures in the lower 90s. Feel like temperatures for today will get to near 100°. A few spotty showers are possible this evening with temperatures overnight falling into the upper 70s.
A better chance for showers and storms for the remainder of the week. A few showers possible to start off the morning with a lot of the state staying on the drier side. Scattered showers and storms begin to develop tomorrow afternoon with some strong to severe. Main threat is damaging winds and flooding. Streaks of 90s will continue through Tuesday. Expect to see feel like temperatures in the upper 90s again during the afternoon.
Wednesday a slight cool down with highs in the upper 80s with scattered showers and thunderstorms. We welcome in summer with highs in the upper 70s with an isolated shower chance. The heat makes a quick back by the end of the week with highs returning into the upper 80s with scattered storm chances through Sunday.
