Dry weekend; rain returns next week

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Cloudy but comfortable temperatures heading into the weekend.  Rain returns for the middle of the new work week.

Tonight:

A quiet, but still cool, if not chilly night across central Indiana.  A few clouds rolling in overnight should keep temperatures from sliding below freezing, but some patchy areas of frost will be possible early Saturday morning.  Lows dip to the middle 30s across the area.

Saturday:

Likely will see more cloud cover across the area compared to the past few days, but temperatures should be slightly warmer.  Highs hit the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Sunday:

More of the same, but should be a couple of degrees warmer by the afternoon, with highs in the lower to middle 60s.

8 Day Forecast:

Warmer and dry start to the work week, Monday.  Highs top out in the middle to upper 60s, which is near average for this time of year.  Several disturbances slide down to the area bringing rain chances and cooler temps, although not as chilly as earlier in the month.  Best rain chances appear to be Wednesday and Friday, with isolated chances Tuesday and Thursday.
