Hot weekend is ahead
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hot temperatures are in store for the next several days
TONIGHT: We will have another comfortable night with partly cloudy skies. It will also be another good night to open up the windows for a fresh breeze and give your A/C a break.
Lows will dip into the low to mid 60’s.
FRIDAY: Hot temperatures will return and it will be slightly more humid. We look to remain dry throughout the day. Highs will hover near the 90° mark.
WEEKEND: We will have exceptional heat as temperatures rise in the low to mid 90’s. We will remain dry, but humidity values will be high, so it will be muggy. The combination of both will make for extremely high heat index values, hovering close to 100° both days. Be sure to stay hydrated along with checking on the elderly, limiting time outdoors, and wear loose light fit clothing. Do not leave your child or pet in a vehicle.
8 DAY FORECAST: The new work week looks to continue being hot with highs in the low 90’s for Monday. High humidity will also continue into Monday as well. The next best chance for possible storms is on Tuesday and Wednesday. Fortunately, temperatures look to slide into the mid 80’s toward the end of the week with dry conditions.
