Rain continues; 70s are in sight

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The soggy conditions continue for another day.  Drier pattern sets up mid week, with a big warm up heading our way this weekend.

Tonight:

Expect showers to continue, but more in scattered or even isolated basis, meaning there will be many breaks from the rain through the late night into the overnight hours.  Like today, rain will remain relatively light.

Lows dip to the lower 50s across the area.

Tuesday:

Showers will continue on and off through much of the day on Tuesday.  Rain chances will exit the region.  Best chances for more steady rain will be in our eastern most counties.  Rain pushes out of the area by late evening/early overnight.

Highs top out in the lower 60s across the area.

Wednesday:

Dry day on tap.  Starts of quite cloudy, as our early week rain maker slowly pulls away, but we should see a great deal of sun for the second half of the day.

Highs hit the upper 50s.

8 Day Forecast:

Dry weather continues into Thursday, with highs in the mid 60s.  A quick hitting cold front will bring scattered rain and cooler temperatures to the area on Friday.  Beyond that, we look great, with highs in the middle 60s, and 70s returning Sunday and beyond.
