Warm and gusty Wednesday with showers this afternoon
A cool start to the morning with temperatures starting off, again, in the lower 30s. Clouds will thin out and we’ll welcome the early part of the day with some sunshine. Highs will warm up this afternoon into the lower 60s, with lower 70s possible for the southern part of the state. Winds begin to crank up this afternoon out of the southwest which will help pump in warm air but also moisture to help fuel some showers this afternoon. Winds will be gusting up to 35 mph. Showers arrive by 4 this afternoon and will be very light. After the low pressure travel across the state colder air will wrap around and transition any left over rain to flurries. No accumulation expected.
Colder for Thursday with highs in the lower 50s with sun and clouds throughout the afternoon. Thursday will begin to the warming and dry trend across the state for the next several days! We end off the work week with highs climbing closer to 60 with mostly sunny skies.
This weekend is looking pretty decent with highs in the lower 60s for both days with sun and clouds during te afternoon.
Next week temperatures warm to almost 70 with sun and clouds. The next chance for showers arrives late Tuesday through Wednesday with high temperatures in the mid to lower 60s.
