INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - When the jury delivered its verdict in the David Bisard trial, so too did the general public.
Social media reaction to the guilty verdict was clear — many people were happy to see Bisard convicted.
“So glad to see justice being served!” said Greg Durbin on the WISH-TV Facebook page.
Many championed “justice served” and the jury doing a “good job,” as well.
As soon as the verdict was read, many people began wondering about Bisard’s sentence.
“I am hoping that he does not get time served,” Sara Wefler said on the WISH-TV Facebook page. “I worried it was going to be a mistrial but when found guilty on all charges I got goosebumps and thrilled that he was held accountable for his actions.”
Although many people championed the verdict, some people were just happy to see a possible end to the case.
The David Bisard case has been going on since a few months after I arrived in Indianapolis. Seems like a lifetime, happy it's over.— Chris Creighton (@CTCreighton) November 5, 2013
