SHIRLEY, Ind. (WISH) - A meth bust in Shirley, Ind. resulted in the arrest of four people early Tuesday morning.
After an ongoing investigation, police obtained a search warrant for a home in the 3100 block of Shirley Road. Police served that warrant around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
During the search, police found over 1.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine inside the home and a car. The street value of the meth is estimated at $68,000.
Police also found a child inside the home. They were put into the care of the Division of Child Services.
At that home, police arrested 21-year-old Araceli Duenas and 24-year-old Charlos Knight. Two others, 31-year-old Richard Smith and 22-year-old Nicole Ostertag, were later arrested at a relative's home in Kennard.
All four face charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, and neglect of a dependent.
