ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) - There's a settlement between the owner of Gene's Root Beer Stand in Anderson and two former carhops, 24-Hour News 8 news partner The Herald Bulletin reports.
The carhops accused their former boss, Andrew Moorman, of stealing tips and ringing up false purchases.
One of the women made a police report and said Moorman offered her $400 to drop her complaint.
As part of the agreement, Moorman will plead guilty to criminal conversion, an A misdemeanor, and he will participate in a pretrial diversion program.
