LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) - A woman is in serious condition this morning after being hit by a car overnight on a busy Lafayette street.
Lafayette Police said she was crossing Creasy Lane in front of Discount Tire just before 3 A.M. when she was struck by a car.
They said she wasn’t using a crosswalk at the time.
She was taken to St. Elizabeth East with a serious head injury.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
Police have not said if the driver will face any charges.
