Megan Simonton Group: A little bit wonderland, a little bit neo-soul

Megan Simonton, who heads up the popular R&B, jazz, rock, and neo-soul group, first stood under stage lights as the Queen of Hearts in “Alice in Wonderland,” and rehearsed numerous variations of, “Off with her head!”

“I’m pretty sure I drove my mother crazy trying to get everything right, but I knew then just how much I loved to perform.”

This year, Simonton is launching an interactive greeting card company, Kalaya’s Creations, that will feature some of her performances. Fans will also get to see the renowned singer in a local film later this year.
