Noblesville police starting Business Watch program

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The Noblesville Police Department is calling on the community for its Business Watch program.

The department says the program will partner with local businesses and create training programs.

It says the goal is to deter and prevent shoplifting, human trafficking and fraud.

“We are excited to launch this new and innovative program for our local businesses just in time for the busy holiday shopping season.” Noblesville Police Department will begin signing up local businesses through an application process starting the second week of November. Chief Mann stated, “This will allow our agency to ensure we have up-to-date contact information for keyholders from those businesses who wish to participate which is a crucial step in solving crimes quickly.”

Police say businesses can begin signing up for the program next week.
