High wine grape yields expected in Indiana

Despite a late freeze and the potential for Brood X cicada damage at the beginning of the wine grape growing season, experts believe Indiana will see a high yield this year. Purdue University viticulture extension specialist Miranda Purcell says wine grape harvesting begins in late August and runs through early October.

Indy joint venture acquires Onkyo audio/video

Indianapolis-based Premium Audio Co. and Sharp Corp. in Japan have created a joint venture and acquired the audio/video business of Japan-based Onkyo. PAC says it owns 75% of the joint venture and will manage all product development, engineering, sales, marketing and distribution of Onkyo's home entertainment business.

Indiana American Water replacing Gary water mains
