MULTIMEDIA ADVERTISING COPYWRITER
WISH-TV/MyINDY-TV 23 in Indianapolis, Indiana is seeking a Multimedia Advertising Copywriter to join our expanding creative team. You would be working with our sales and creative service departments to craft compelling and effective content across all of our platforms.
We are looking for a wordsmith who can listen to our clients’ needs and turn their ideas into successful advertising copy.
If you are someone with a passion for writing and looking for an opportunity to have your creativity showcased in the fast-moving world of entertainment and news broadcasting, this job hits that mark.
Duties & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Gathering information to create effective commercial copy.
- Working with creative service directors and producers to effectively turn the creative concept into reality.
- Collaborating with our promotion department to create exciting station promotional spots to reach our expanding audience.
A qualified candidate has:
- Excellent communication and writing skills. Ad agency copywriting skills a plus.
- Minimum two (2) years advertising or related writing experience.
- Ability to create original copy that stands out from the crowd.
- Detail oriented skills and is able to multi-task.
- Up-to-date knowledge on industry trends and is driven to use that knowledge to expand our audience.
This is a full-time position on-site in Indianapolis, Indiana and comes with an attractive benefits package.
