INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Here are a few things happening around Indy this weekend.

1) Winter Lights at Newfields

More than a million lights will dance across the Lilly House Lawn. You can enjoy warm drinks, music and great photo opportunities this weekend.  The event runs from 5pm-9pm and ticket prices vary from $8-$25. 2) Lights at the Brickyard

Start your engines! Well, maybe just do a quick stretch before taking a loop around the 2 mile track. More than 3 million lights surround the oval.  Tickets range in price. If you want to take another trip around the course it’s only an additional $5! Gates are open from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday. But the event continues throughout the month. 

3) Christmas on the Farm – Zionsville

You can visit Santa, enjoy holiday music and crafts and take a sleigh hayride all at Traderspoint Creamery. Event runs Saturday/Sunday 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m.

4) Fishers Fire Foundation Breakfast with Santa

Santa is taking a quick break from his duties at the North Pole in order to grab breakfast with everyone at the Historic Ambassador House & Heritage Gardens. The event includes Christmas stories with the Fire Chief. It begins Saturday at 9 a.m.

5) 12 Chefs of Christmas

On Saturday, Dec. 8 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. you can enjoy 12 different samples of food and beer at the Indianapolis City Market. It’s the organization’s largest fundraiser.

6) Santa Hustle Half Marathon and 5k

Lace up your sneakers and grab your Santa hat! Sunday, Dec. 9 at 9 a.m. at the American Legion Mall in downtown Indianapolis the race starts and finishes. There’s a 5k walk/run, a half marathon and kids races. 7) Holiday themed shows

A Christmas Carol takes place this Saturday and Sunday at the Indiana Repertory Theatre. You can follow Ebenzer Scrooge as he travels to the past, present and future. Ticket information can be found here: https://www.irtlive.com/

8) Brunch with Santa Walhill Farm

From 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, Santa will be available for pictures in Bateville!  You can grab a brunch buffet and ask Saint Nick an early Christmas gift request.
