INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Every week, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at a business or organizion making a positive impact in the community.

This week that was the city of Lawrence.

The mayor of the city, Steve Collier, stopped by to talk about what’s happening in Lawrence.

He talk about the planned new Lawrence Police station and businesses moving into the area.

Additionally, he also provided information about his background and how his time as an educator has helped prepare him for for his current role as mayor.
