Community Link: Fathers and Families Center

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.

Fathers and Families Center helps young, low-income fathers and expectant fathers become responsible and involved parents to their children.

Dr, Wallace McLaughlin, president and CEO of Fathers and Families Center, was this week’s guest on Community Link.

According to McLaughlin, the organization’s mission is to actively engage and support fathers to be there for their children as providers and nurturing parents.

He discussed what his organization does and why he believes it’s so important for fathers to be involved in the lives of their children.

He also talked about some of the programs and ways the organization provides assistance to fathers.
