INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each week in Community Link Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.
COVID-19 has financially impacted so many people across the county and around the world.
James Davidson, assistant vice president of financial literacy for Financial Center First Credit Union, stopped by the WISH-TV studios to talk more about finances during the pandemic.
“What I recommend, is it is time to sit down and prioritize,” said Davidson. “I always tell people keep a roof over your head, the lights on and food in the pantry. Sit down and go over the budget, find out where those things are to be able to have the necessities.”
Davidson also said now is a good opportunity for you to refinance your debts.
“You need to sit down and look at your debt and you interest rates,” said Davidson.”Start looking for different ways to refinance.”
