INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.
This week, Mays-Medley spoke with Collette Duvalle, director of communications for the Heath and Hospital Corporation.
Duvalle said they’ve been especially busy recently due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Of the 700 total employees that we have in the public health system, probably half of those employees are working on COVID-19,” said Duvalle. “Some of the things we’re doing is the testing sites in the community, we’re putting those up.”
The Health and Hosptial Corporation operates Eskenazi Health, the Marion County Health Department and emergency medical services.
