Community Link: Indianapolis Jazz Foundation

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.

The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation has been in Indianapolis since 1996 to preserve the legacy and to promote the future of jazz in Indianapolis.

Currently, the foundation is preparing to celebrate one of their annual fundraising events.

The owner of the Jazz Kitchen and a member of the foundation, David Allee, was this week’s guest on Community Link.

Allee talked about the foundation, how the foundation has been functioning during the pandemic and some of the programs the foundation offers to those interested in jazz.
