Community Link: Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.

Developing programs and services to engage those involved in and interested in philanthropy, in diverse communities, is part of the mission of the Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy at the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

Lakoya Rochell, the director of programs for the Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy, was this week’s Community Link guest.

Rochell gave an overview of the institute’s mission, why a program such as the Mays Family Institute on Diverse Philanthropy was needed and a brand new partnership with the Indiana Fever.
