Community Link: Metropolitan Youth Orchestra

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays takes a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.

This week, Mays was joined by Krystle Ford, the director of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, and discussed how the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra aims to educate through its youth program.

“MYO is a youth and family development program, and we use music as the vehicle to teach life skills to kids and help them grow up to be successful adults,” Ford said.
