Community Link: Mom Walk Collective

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Each and every week on Community Link, Carolene Mays takes a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.

This week, Mays was joined by Abby Merritt Baker, Indianapolis ambassador for Mom Walk Collective.

Mom Walk Collective is an organization that works to provide in-person events like walks and online social gatherings to help moms “find their village” and raise the next generation.

“I’ve had various moms of all different stages — you have the mom on maternity leave who just had a baby and then you have a mom of a five-year-old who’s kind of gone through that stage — and you hear people just bouncing ideas off of each other, getting advice. I’ve had people meet and go to the playground afterward and make new friends,” Merritt Baker said.
