Community Link: The Indianapolis Recorder

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each week in Community Link, Carolene Mays-Medley and Marco Dominguez take a look at an organization or business that is making a positive impact on the community.

The Indianapolis Recorder is the fourth oldest Black newspaper in the country.

Robert Shegog, the president of Recorder Media Group, was this week’s guest.

Shegog talked about how he feels a personal responsibility to help highlight issues as far as social and racial injustice is concerned.

Additionally, he mentioned how important it is for the community to have discussions regarding equality, equity and justice.
