WISH Patrol heads back to school for special surprise

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Students across Central Indiana are heading back to school, and so is the WISH Patrol!

Educators know the importance of starting the school year off on the right foot.

In partnership with Teachers’ Treasures, the WISH Patrol visited Louis B. Russell Jr. Indianapolis Public School #48 recently to surprise the students and teachers with a first day of school they will never forget.

“It’s nothing but a blessing and opportunity for our students to be prepared,” said Principal Arthur Hinton. “It’s knowing that folks care. It’s knowing that there’s somebody out there that’s supporting you and knowing that they believe in you.”
