AC’s mother’s old fashion pound cake

Ingredients
3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
6 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp lemon flavor extract
1 tsp vanilla flavor extract
1 tsp baking powder
Directions
- Set oven to 325 degrees.
- Grease and flour a 10-inch tube pan.
- Put the 6 eggs in a mixing bowl and beat the eggs by themselves in the bowl.
- Then add the 3 sticks of butter and the 3 cups of sugar. Take an electric mixer and beat until it’s mixed really well.
- Then put vanilla flavor and lemon flavor and the cup of sour cream in the same mixing bowl. Then mix very well.
- Then sift together flour and baking powder… put in mixing bowl with other ingredients and mix until it’s really smooth.
- Then pour batter into cake pan. Put pan in the oven for 70 minutes.
- Take out of the oven and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then remove from pan and you are ready to serve the best pound cake ever!
