‘Gr8 Comeback’: Apocalypse Burger

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A new burger spot with a bold name is catching on in Indianapolis.

Apocalypse Burger is a new project from Patachou at 49th and Pennsylvania streets.

House manager Cierra Barnett told News 8’s Randall Newsome the idea for the burger joint came to restaurateur Martha Hoover when all of her other restaurants were shut down. During a time of uncertainty, what she and her family really wanted was a good burger. And the new carryout-only burger spot was born.

In addition to the burgers, there’s comfort food, including a lions mane mushroom sandwich that’s deep fried and comes with slaw and aioli.

You can order online or call in your order. Apocalypse Burger has a few patio tables in case people want to pick up their order and sit out to chow down.
