‘A Gala for Dogs’ celebrates the joy dogs brings to humans, raises money for FACE Animal Clinic

A Gala for Dogs is a festive night where the black-tie attire, tasty snacks, and activities are reserved for VIPs, or Very Important Puppers.

Steve Tuttle, head chef at Rooster’s Kitchen and Alyssa Starr Newerth of FACE Clinic joined us today to share more about this event that’s happening on Friday, October 1. Steve also made Vegan Muffuletta and a Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich, which is some of the food you can expect at the event.

This party truly is for the dogs! A belly rub station, paw print art, grass carpet pup-arazzi, dog trick contest, take-home treat bags, and more will keep doggy dignitaries happy.

Only 40 lucky dogs will be able to attend. Due to limited capacity, humans may bring only one dog each. Humans must be 18 years of age, while VIPs must be at least five months of age.

Human tickets are $45. VIP tickets (dog tickets) are $25.

Even if your dog stays home, this will be a great human party. What’s more fun than watching dozens of dogs wearing tutus frolic around on a Friday night? Not much. It’s going to be amazing.

Jen Hancock, FACE Executive Director says, “This outdoor event is a great way to gather and celebrate the joy that dogs bring to our lives.”

Food by Rooster’s Kitchen, wine by Daniel’s Vineyard, and beer from Upland Brewing Company will be included in the human ticket price. Dog treats provided by City Dogs Grocery.
