Be the positive influence in a child’s life through Big Brothers Big Sisters

Begin a relationship. Change a life.

If you’ve ever thought about becoming a “Big Brother or Big Sister,” now may be the perfect time to make that happen.

Andy Ancel, Big Brother with Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Indiana since May 2016, tells us more about the program and how YOU can help “clear a path to a child’s biggest possible future.”

Be the positive influence in a child’s life through Big Brothers Big Sisters

•    Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana provides children (ages 8 to 18) facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever – empowering youth to achieve their full potential, achieve greater confidence and educational success, and avoid risky behaviors.
•    BBBSCI serves more than 1,300 boys and girls annually, ages 8 to 18 in Marion, Hamilton, and Johnson Counties.
•    BBBSCI works with together with volunteers, parents, and partners to ignite, empower, and defend the potential of every child.
•    National Mentoring Month celebrates the impact of mentoring and the positive effect it has on youth and our community’s future. This is a time for BBBSCI to recognize all of the volunteers, partners, and donors who make our mission possible. No one would be where they are today without great mentors.
•    January also marks the start of a new year, when many are looking for ideas for New Year’s resolutions. There is no better time to get involved with BBBS!
•    Volunteer options: Big Brother, Big Sister, Big Couple, and Big Friend
