BRICS celebrates 5th anniversary with free ice cream

Get your taste buds ready! Locally owned ice cream shop, BRICS, is celebrating its 5th anniversary during the month of May. Events include an ice cream eating contest on the 30th and a free ice cream day on the 31st. To celebrate, BRICS will be offering a special ice cream sampler dubbed the The Big Five that features the top five selling flavors over the past five years.  Other events planned for the month include a social media scavenger hunt, ice cream eating contest & a BRICS bike ride. The anniversary celebration will culminate with an all-day anniversary party on Sunday, May 31st which will include music, giveaways, free ice cream scoops for everyone, celebrity guests & more.  All proceeds from this event will benefit the Broad Ripple Village Association.

BRICS strives to be an environmentally responsible business. They use local & regional baked goods & products including 4 Birds Bakery Cookies, Upper Crust Artisan Pies pies & brownies; Triple XXX Rootbeer from West Lafayette, and our ice cream is from a small ice cream company in South Haven, MI called Shermans Ice Cream.
